Quantum Metrics is a product analytics tool for B2B SaaS companies.

It allows you to track and analyze your product usage data, and then use that data to make better product decisions.

With this integration you can seamlessly connect Kameleoon with Quantum Metrics to:

  • Push campaign exposure event data (campaign name and variation name) to Quantum Metrics
  • Use Quantum Metrics dashboards to analyze your campaigns

Prerequisites

  • To configure this  integration, you need to have Quantum Metrics installed on your website.
  • You need to create a custom event in Quantum Metric specifically for Kameleoon. You’ll need the Event ID of this custom event when setting up the integration for your project.

Enable Quantum Metrics integration on Kameleoon

On the Integrations page

Log in to your Kameleoon App, click on Administrate and then Integrations in the sidebar.

By default, the tool is not installed. This is signaled by this icon:

With a click on Install the tool, you will be able to select the projects on which you want to activate it.

Enter the Event ID of the custom event you previously created in Quantum Metric. This can be found in the EVENT Settings page in Quantum Metrics.

Once you have configured the tool, click on Validate in the bottom-right corner: the configuration panel closes. You will then see an ON toggle on the right of the tool’s line, as well as the number of projects the tool is configured on.

Exposure events to any campaign will be sent automatically to Quantum Metrics.

Important: Make sure the Quantum Metrics script is installed on your pages as Kameleoon will use Quantum Metrics API methods to send the data for your campaigns.

Activate Quantum Metrics on a campaign

In an A/B experiment

Once Quantum Metrics is activated on the Integrations page, you can select it as a reporting tool at the Integrations step of the finalization panel in the Graphic editor or in the Code editor.

In a personalization

Once Quantum Metrics is activated on the Integrations page, you can select it as a reporting tool on the personalization creation page.

On the results page

It is also possible to select it among the reporting tools on the results page.

In the right sidebar, click on Reporting tools and then on Edit.

Select Quantum Metrics and don’t forget to validate!

Data transmission

As soon as Quantum Metrics has been activated and defined as a reporting tool in a campaign, an event called “Experiment viewed” will be sent automatically every time a visitor sees a variation of an active Kameleoon A/B experiment.
