Mapp
Kameleoon is compatible with Mapp (formerly Webtrekk) to help you analyze your experiments and personalizations.
With the Mapp integration, you can segment your visitors according to the Kameleoon tests and variations they have been exposed to.
Key benefits:
- Segments can be used in all Mapp analysis modules.
- Analyze the impact of A/B tests and personalizations using real-time customer intelligence
Set up Mapp
You need to create an Event Parameter in your Mapp account. This Event Parameter (ID) is required for your installation. To do this:
- Choose an unused action parameter which will be used to track the variation value.
- You can add this event parameter later to a Mapp Report.
- Choose Kameleoon Plugin for Usage Tagintegration(ti).
- Select All pages as rule.
IF you use the Kameleoon Personalization Module, you can select Personalization Tracking.
Your event parameter (ID) is created.
Enable Mapp integrations in Kameleoon
To enable Mapp integrations in Kameleoon:
- Log in to the Kameleoon app.
- Click Admin > Integrations > Install the tool.
- Select the projects on which you want to activate Mapp.

You will then see a ON toggle on the right of the tool’s line, and the number of projects the tool is configured on.
The data will be automatically pushed to Mapp if it is installed on your pages.
If you need to change the behavior of our native bridge, you can create a custom analytics bridge and use the Mapp sample code on our Github repository.
