Access the AI widget creation pop-in
On the Widget Studio homepage, you can create a custom widget using Kameleoon’s AI generator.
Select the Create with AI option.
Enter your prompt
Important: This feature is in beta. AI-generated widgets are currently limited to a combination of only the following elements: text, text area, heading, image, button, input, toggle, and close. Events must be created manually for AI-generated widgets.
The AI-powered widget generator starts by asking you to enter a prompt describing the type of widget you want to create. Here is an example of prompt:
Create a pop-up widget for an e-commerce website offering a 10% discount on the first order. The widget should include a compelling heading, a short description, an input field for email collection, a call-to-action button labeled ‘Get My Discount’, and a close button. The design should be modern and eye-catching to increase conversion rates.
You can then either click Generate Widget to proceed or Customize Design to refine your widget’s appearance.
Customize the design
If you choose to customize your design, you will be guided through the following options.
You can either generate a new design or generate from an existing design, i.e. base your widget on a template.
Generate a new design
Choose a style
Select a design style for your widget:
- Minimalist
- Vibrant
- Modern
- Professional
- Detailed
- Playful
This step is optional, you can skip it.
Choose a color palette
Select a predefined color palette to match your brand identity. Available options include:
- Clay
- Vintage
- Soft
- Luxe
- Sunshine
- Summer
This step is optional, you can skip it.
Choose a format
Select the format of your widget:
- Square
- Landscape
- Portrait
- Banner
- Vertical
- Photography
This step is optional, you can skip it.
Then click Generate Widget to continue.
In order to proceed, you may accept this AI-generated widget, discard it, regenerate it, or edit the prompt you’ve written.
Generate from an existing design
Once selected, you will enter the template library, where you can choose from a variety of our pre-designed widgets. You can also choose one of your custom templates or favorites if you have saved designs.
Click Generate Widget to create your widget based on the selected design.
In order to proceed, you may accept this AI-generated widget, discard it, regenerate it, or edit the prompt you’ve written.
Generate the widget
If you directly click on Generate the widget after entering your prompt, our AI will build your widget solely based on your input.
If you click on Generate the widget after customizing your design, our AI will take into account both your input and the design you specified.
In order to proceed, you may accept this AI-generated widget, discard it, regenerate it, or edit the prompt you’ve written.
You can either edit your prompt to specify a design or accept this widget and edit it just as you would when customizing a standard template in the Widget Studio.
