Create a Widget

To create a widget:

  1. Click Studio > Widgets > New widget.
  2. Select Using the editor > Start. If you prefer to create a widget from code, view this article.
  3. Enter the required information in the pop-in.
  4. Click Create.

Select a template in the Widget Studio. You can select by content type or use case.

Content types​

  • Pop-in: Add a pop-in to your page.
  • Banner: Add a banner to your page.
  • Cookies policy: Let your visitors choose their cookie preferences.
  • Emailing/Newsletter: Improve return rates by incentivizing visitors with a pop-in.
  • Sliders: Create carousels to animate your website.
  • Countdown/Timer: Create urgency for better conversions.

Both the timer and the countdown create a sense of urgency, but the first is in hours, while the second is in days. Use the timer for short-term offers (for instance, limited-time free shipping), and the countdown for long-term offers (for instance, a week-long sale).

Use cases​

  • Urgency: Let visitors know how long they have before their offer expires.
  • Product push: Highlight your newest and hottest products with this pop-in.
  • Discount offers: Provide your visitors with discount offers.
  • Feedback/Survey: Ask customers for their feedback.
  • Help: Support your visitors and provide the right content according their needs.
  • Social networks: Grow your business's social media following.
  • Mobile app install: Prompt customers to download your app.
