Access the Goals page

To access the Goals page from the App, use the left side menu > “Configure” > “Goals”.

Manage your goals

Each goal is represented by a card that indicates the main information.

The default version includes the goal “Engagement” for all sites set up with your Kameleoon account.

This goal records the number of visitors who open at least one other page after the landing page.

Find a goal

When you have created a large number of goals, a search bar, a filter tool, and a sorting tool make it easy for you to find a particular goal.

Filter goals

You can filter the goals according to several criteria:

  1. Website
  2. Type
  3. Key date
  4. Author

Note: Once you apply filters, Kameleoon generates a unique URL with custom parameters, which you can then share with other members of your team. Just click on “Copy link to this filtered dashboard” located on the right of the dashboard title.

  • Website

You can filter the displayed goals according to the website(s) they are associated with.

Check the website(s) and click on “Apply”.

  • Type

You can filter the displayed goals according to their type. For example, you can choose to display only the custom goals that you have configured.

Check the type(s) and click on “Apply”.

  • Key date

You can filter the displayed goals according to the key date they are associated with: last modification or creation date.

Select a date and click on “Apply”.

  • Author

You can filter the displayed goals according to their author.

Check the author(s) and click on “Apply”.

Sort goals

The sorting option allows you to sort your goals according to several criteria:

  1. Name
  2. Linked to (Campaign)
  3. Edition date
  4. Goal ID
  5. Creation date
  6. Website
  • Name

Hover over “Name” and then click on the chevron to sort goals in alphabetical (or reverse alphabetical) order.

  • Linked to

Hover over “linked to” and then click on the chevron to rank the goals based on the campaign type.

  • Edition date

Hover over “Edited” and then click on the chevron to sort goals from newest edition to oldest or vice versa.

  • Goal ID

Hover over “ID” and then click on the chevron to sort the goals IDs in ascending or descending order

  • Creation date

Hover over “Created” and then click on the chevron to sort goals from newest creation to oldest or vice versa.

  • Website

Hover over “Website” and then click on the chevron to organize the website on which they are set in alphabetical (or reverse alphabetical) order.

Edit a goal

To edit an already existing goal, find the card of the goal you want to edit.

On the goal card, click on the “Edit” button. A pop-in opens and enables you to make the changes of your choice.

Be careful! If a goal is used on at least one online, paused or planned experiment, by editing it you will change the way your conversions are measured. The result analysis will be more complex.
We recommend you stop the experiment before editing the goal, and duplicate your experiments.

When your changes are complete, click on “Validate” to save them.

Duplicate a goal

With Kameleoon you can duplicate an existing goal. This saves you time if you want to create several similar goals.

Select the goal of your choice, then click on the 3 dots menu on the very right side of the card and click on “Duplicate”.

The “Duplicate” sidebar opens, with all the parameters of the goal that you have duplicated. To validate the creation of the new goal, click on the “Continue” button at the bottom of the pop-in.

Delete a goal

Select the goal of your choice, then click on the 3 dots menu on the very right side of the card and click on “Delete”.

Multiple selection

You can select multiple goals at the same time and apply a common action to them. For example, it is possible to delete several goals or to disable all.

Select the goal of your choice, then click on the 3 dots menu on the very right side of the card and click on “Select”.

The goals become selectable and the “Grouped actions” sidebar opens.

Several actions are possible:

  • Select all / deselect all

When at least one goal is selected on the page, but not all are, the icon looks like this:

To unselect all goals of the page, click on “Options” > “Unselect all”.

The actions you will perform later via the menu bar will be applied to all selected goals. This feature saves time!

  • Activate

Activate all selected goals.

  • Disable

Disable all selected goals.

  • Manage tags

In the “Grouped actions” sidebar, click on “Manage tags”.

  • Export goals

In the “Grouped actions” sidebar, click on “Export”.

Select a format: PDF or Excel. Set the export options if needed. Then click on “Export Dashboard”. Only the checked goals will be present in the file.
