The Kameleoon Image Library enables you to upload and manage images used in your campaigns. This guide will walk you through accessing the Image Library, understanding its structure, and uploading new images.

Accessing the Image library

In the Kameleoon App, go to the left sidebar, click on Configure, and select Image Library from the dropdown. This opens the main view of the Image Library.

Image Library structure

When you enter the Image Library, you’ll see:

  • Search bar: At the top of the screen, you can search for specific images by name.
  • Filter options: On the right, filters allow you to refine the image selection by file type.
  • Image display: Images are displayed in a grid view by default. You can toggle between grid and list view for easier navigation.
  • Add an image button: Located at the top right, this button allows you to upload a new image.
  • Image details and options: Hover over any image to access options like viewing details and editing.

Uploading a new image

Click on the Add an Image button in the top-right corner.

You’ll be prompted to Choose a project. This step allows you to link the image to a specific project, making it easily accessible when you work on a campaign.

Then choose an upload method:

  • Upload from computer: Select an image file from your computer.
  • Upload via URL: Provide the URL of the image you want to use.

The following file formats are accepted: PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, and WebP, with a maximum file size of 3MB.

After selecting an image, it will open in the Image Editor, where you can make adjustments (e.g., resize, crop, add shapes). If you want detailed instructions on editing, refer to this article.

When you’re finished, click Save Image to add it to the Image Library.

Important: To ensure optimal performance, images added to your library that are not associated with an active campaign or widget will be automatically removed after 12 months.

You have now successfully uploaded an image to the Kameleoon Image Library, and it’s ready to be used in your campaigns.
