Create a new goal

To learn how to create a new goal, please read this article

Set up a goal in an experiment

Once a goal has been created, you just need to apply it to an experiment.

To do this, on the finalization page of the editor, go to the Goals section.

The list of existing goals appears: select the goal you previously created.

Click on Next: this goal is applied to your experiment.

Set up a goal in a personalization

Once a goal has been created, you just need to apply it to a personalization.

In the Select goals part of the personalization creation page, check an existing goal.

This goal is applied to your personalization.

Add a goal to a running experiment or personalization

It is possible to add a goal even after your experiment or personalization has already started.

However, please note the following:

  • If the goal was created and configured after the launch of the experience, only data collected after the goal’s creation will be available and taken into account in the results.
  • If the goal was created and configured before the launch, Kameleoon will automatically compute results retroactively from the beginning of the experiment.

This is important to keep in mind when analyzing your metrics, especially if you’re making changes to your goal tracking during the campaign.

Note: At the moment, Kameleoon AI (KAI) may not provide a clear answer to this specific scenario.
