The Kameleoon Image Library offers a variety of tools to help you manage your images efficiently. This guide covers how to use the search and filter options, access image-specific actions, and customize your library view.

Searching and Filtering images

  • Search bar: Located at the top of the Image Library, the search bar allows you to find images by entering a keyword or file name. This feature makes it easy to locate specific images within a large library.
  • Filters: On the right side, you can filter images by file type (e.g., JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, SVG). Select one or more file types, then click Apply to update the displayed images.

Image display options

The Image Library provides two display options:

  • Grid view (by default): Displays images in a thumbnail format, ideal for visual browsing.
  • List view: Displays images in a list format with additional details such as modification date, creator, and tags.

Switch between views by clicking the respective icons in the upper-right corner.

Sorting images

Click on the Sort icon to change the order in which images are displayed. You can sort images by:

  • Modification date (newest or oldest first)
  • Upload date (newest or oldest first)
  • Alphabetical order (A to Z or Z to A)

Managing individual images

Each image in the library has a three-dot menu in the top right corner, providing quick access to various options:

  1. Edit image: Opens the selected image in the Image Editor for modifications.
  2. See image details: Displays the image’s metadata, including size, format, dimensions, creator, creation date, and modification date. You can also copy the image link or edit fields like name, alt text, and description.
  3. Manage tags: Tags help organize images, making them easier to find through search. Click Add a tag in the details panel to assign tags to the image.
  4. Download image: Allows you to download a copy of the image to your device.
  5. Duplicate image: Creates a copy of the image within the library.
  6. Select multiple images: Enables grouped actions by selecting multiple images.
  7. Delete: Permanently removes the image from the library.
